Since most of us don’t personally know many millionaires we must seek out successful people and find out what they are doing to create success in their lives. A favorite saying I heard is ‘the longest path to becoming a millionaire is wasting your time trying to find the shortest way to become a millionaire.’ If you truly want to become a millionaire you will need to take the time to learn what other successful people do, how they do it and what you can do to emulate them. That is the only short cut. Your going to need to go through successes AND failures without being discouraged because you are going to experience both during your journey.

You need to start looking for a business or process that is best suited for you. Not everything works for every one since we all have different skill sets. Also, if all you are thinking about is being a millionaire when you look at an opportunity you will more than likely get sucked in by hype or slick sales pitches. Don’t let this happen to you. You must actually look at the process and the work you will have to do to reach the millionaire status because you WILL have to work at it no matter what opportunity you choose. Don’t fool yourself and just ‘buy hope’ thinking the process will happen automatically. It won’t. Find someone you connect with and trust, then start doing what they are doing. There is a stunning 97% failure rate out there when it comes to home businesses. Why? Because people ‘buy hope’ and don’t have the right mentality. Thinking like ‘man, I really would like it if I was a millionaire’ won’t do anything for you. That is the mentality of a gambler or someone who buys lottery tickets, ‘hoping’ to be rich. Mental shift people! How about thinking ‘I am going to be a millionaire no matter what it takes for me to get there. It will be hard but being average is not cutting it for me. I will continue finding ways to create wealth in my life and move on to new ways if the old ways don’t work, without feeling discouraged.’ This can be hard at first but will continue to become easier as you move on and find more people with the same millionaire mentality as you and start moving away from people with the ‘average’ mentality that can drag you down. It is hardest at the start so, don’t get discouraged. Continue to rely on the people you have found that can teach you about the success mentality until YOU are that person others come to for inspiration and knowledge.
Opportunities You May Come Across
Many people start searching for opportunities online. This is a good place to start because there are many legitimate opportunities online. But you must be careful not to get sucked into the hype mentioned before. Don’t let that lottery mentality take over. Make sure you research the opportunity and what you are going to have to do to make it work. If it looks right for you, make sure the people you will be working with are people you are comfortable with because they are the ones you will be relying on to teach you. These people are important because many companies claim to be able to offer huge amounts of income right away. This may be true, but the people that are able to do that probably have serious experience in the industry making it possible for them to pull that off. Having a strong relationship with an experienced person like this will shorten the learning curve you must go through to achieve your millionaire goals.

So, make sure you don’t get caught up in hype. Make sure you do your due diligence on any opportunity you come across so you know if you are going to be able to do what it takes to make the opportunity work. Pick what works for you after you’ve done some research and make sure you find some experienced people you trust to emulate and learn from. Your success and millionaire mind set will begin to grow slowly at first but come to a point where it can’t be stopped, as well as the millions of dollars that come with that mind set.
